Traditional ultrasound uses 2 Dimensional black and white picture to see the baby inside mother's womb. As technology improves, ultrasound are capable to create image with volume with 3 dimension image. This is 3D scan. Its a computer imaging 3 dimensional image. As technology improves further, this 3 dimensional image is improved to capture the movement of the baby in mother's womb in real time. As time as the 4th dimension, this is call 4D. But 4D is still computer generated image and does not look like a real baby. Its more of a computer graphic image. So 5D (aka HD Live) is introduced. Its a computer generated image, it is so clear and almost look like the real baby. This is what we are offering to our pregnant mommies client.

DETAIL SCAN

Suitable 18-28 weeks

A detail scan is much more than just a normal scan. Capable of detecting physical marker of the baby to detect any abnormalities the baby has. Although it does not have 100% detection rate, but is the best modalities to use as screening method to screen without invasive procedure. Condition that can be detected is cleft palate, congenital heart disease, syndromic babies (eg Down Syndrome), malformation of major organ such as kidney brain and major long bones.

EARLY PREGNANCY 5D SCAN

Suitable 10-14 week

Early scan is very important to confirm the date expected of delivery. It is very accurate down to 3-4 days discrepency compared to scan done in 28 weeks, the discrepency is up to 2 weeks! So make sure early scan is done. As additional we can offer 5D scan in early pregnancy. Mommies will be able to see the first picture of their baby.
